Unlike countries experiencing difficulties in the Covid-19 pandemic, Turkey sustained its efforts with rising imports and exports of machinery without slowing down. New machinery investments of Turkish textile manufacturers increased by 34% compared to the previous year and exceeded the level of US$ 1.5 billion. The meeting point of the textile industry, the international textile machinery fair, TME Istanbul, will bring world textile sector together between September 8- 11, 2021 with its 11 fair halls, in Istanbul/Turkey.
TME Istanbul is composed of the following production groups: yarn and yarn preparation machines, twisting and bobbin machines, technical textile and nonwoven machines, spare parts and components, weaving preparation and weaving machines, knitting machines (flat and round), weft, warp knitting machines, embroidery machines, dyeing, finishing machines, textile chemicals, laboratory devices, digital printing machines, and garment machines, as well as auxiliary machines and accessories.
Held simultaneously with the fair Texstart, yarns and fabrics are taken into agenda. The aim is to turn the event into a hub at the outset of new season where textiles can supply their yarn, ready to wear can supply their fabric. The product groups to be exhibited at Texstart 2021, which will include international participants.
