It is impossible to imagine fashion without denim. However, jeans are also considered an environmental offender, as the production of denim clothing consumes a great deal of water, energy and chemicals. From cotton cultivation to water-saving dyeing processes to finishing – there are already diverse and sustainable innovations for the industry. With the Denim Future Factory (DFF), Texprocess 2022 is designing this thematic focus specifically for the denim industry.
Texprocess, the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials, will be held in Frankfurt/Germany from June 21-24, 2022. Techtextil, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, will also be held concurrently. In addition to the in-person trade fair offering with supporting program, the Texprocess and Techtextil will also take place as hybrid events and include numerous additional digital offerings for exhibitors and visitors.
With the Techtextil and Texprocess forums, visitors to both trade fairs also gain highly topical insights into a wide range of industry issues.
Innovative new and further developments in technical textiles, nonwovens and functional apparel textiles, as well as technologies and processes for processing textiles and flexible materials, will again be honored with the Techtextil and Texprocess Innovation Awards in 2022. For the first time, outstanding achievements in sustainability in the industry will also be recognized.
