Specifically formulated to reduce odor in natural and synthetic fabrics, Nobo anti-odor technology is the newest addition to Sciessent’s product portfolio. Nobo adsorbs compounds responsible for body odor without the use of an antimicrobial.
The technology harnesses the power of benign, non-biocidal, highly porous minerals. The complex structure creates a high, active surface area that bonds with odor compounds, readily adsorbing them into the porous surface. Once adsorbed, the odors are washed away in the laundry and the receptor sites regenerate – ready to adsorb new odors.
Applied via pad or spray applications, the new product from Sciessent, Beverly, MA/USA, a leader in antimicrobial, anti-odor, anti-pilling and water repellent technologies, can be incorporated into virtually any fabric and is ideal for daily-use garments. It is effective on recycled polyester, as well as on synthetic cellulosic fibers.
Nobo, along with Sciessent’s Agion, Lava X2, Agion Active X2, and Pilltec products, are all bluesign approved and listed on the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation ZDHC Gateway, complying with ZDHC Level 3 requirements.
