With more than 100,000 tons of pre-and-post-consumer cotton waste recycled in 2021, Säntis has reported another successful year for its 100% recycled cotton RCO100.
The figures from the global sustainable fabric and technology specialists Säntis Textiles Pte. Ltd., Singapore, indicate a clear surge in demand for circular fabric solutions from brands, global retail markets and consumers across multiple sectors.
»Our figures clearly reveal the demand and necessity for textile sustainability and circularity is more prominent than ever before.«
Annabelle Hutter, Creative Director at Säntis Textiles

100% recycled cotton variants are offered in the form of single jersey, nonwoven and woven which include denim, chino, shirting and knit fabrics. The fibers are created with specialized technology and an exclusive spinning process that can make fine fibers and produce yarns without breakage, using no blends, no regenerated fibers or chemical processes.
Most recently, the rapid growth in figures has allowed the company to invest further in its research and development of new 100% recycled cotton variants including its finest single jersey Ne20 and Ne30 yarns, which are both commercially available.
