As of May 2022, Säntis is a strategic development partner of FibreTrace, a leader in traceable fiber technology. A pioneer in advanced sustainable textile technologies, Säntis will work alongside FibreTrace to develop a unique traceable ID specifically for its trailblazing RCO100 fibers, yarns, and fabrics.
In return, the global reach of Säntis Textiles Pte. Ltd., Singapore, will enable FibreTrace to become the leading physical and digital transparency solution for recycled and circular textile solutions. The partnership is rooted in both companies’ approach to delivering quality and integrity at scale, to future-proof supply chains and to provide the end-consumer with the opportunity to choose a transparent and sustainable supply chain to follow and purchase from.
The technology from FibreTrace, Singapore, gives brands a full overview of their supply chain at every step from sourcing of raw fiber to store, combining physical and digital technology to provide complete information. It is indestructible through the entire textile supply chain, auditable and traceable in real-time, verifies brand claims, builds trust, and engages the consumer.
RCO100 technology from Säntis works by taking pre-consumer industrial waste and post-consumer cotton garment waste to produce 100% recycled cotton yarns without the use of chemical processes or regenerated fibers.
»A core part of our growth strategy is developing fiber tracing technology for our one-of-a-kind recycling technology, RCO100, so we’re delighted to be working with FibreTrace, who are leaders in this field, to help to develop this.«
