Hybrid RF dryer (RF Systems)
The producer of radio frequency dryers and thermal processing equipment RF Systems Srl, Solagna/Italy, will show improved Hybrid RF dryer solutions, which integrate RF drying technology (responsible for rapid and uniform water evaporation) with hot air (responsible for removing water molecules from product surface). Hybrid ultra-gentle drying not only maintains original hand quality, particularly for large surface products, but also improves productivity, decreasing in the same time energy consumption. Dryers are automatically controlled by an Industry 4.0 ready PLC, which automatically adjusts the appropriate RF energy delivery during the process. The process is carried out in-line with water evaporation rates for each module from 20–120 kg/h, depending on the RF generator power, to satisfy the requirements of any size dye-house or water-based process applications. The equipment configuration is modular, therefore highly flexible: additional modules can be added to cope with higher capacities.
