By optimizing production processes, PrimaLoft can reduce its carbon footprint. With the further development of the company’s proprietary technology for PrimaLoft P.U.R.E. insulation fibers, CO2 emissions in production are now reduced by up to 70% - previously the savings were already 48%.
PrimaLoft P.U.R.E. was first introduced by PrimaLoft Inc., Latham, NY/USA, in 2019 and stands for “Produced Using Reduced Emissions”. The innovative manufacturing technique is a key component of PrimaLoft’s “Relentlessly Responsible” effort to develop products that are as sustainable as possible without compromising on performance and durability.

PrimaLoft P.U.R.E. is a holistic approach that coordinates materials, technical processes, equipment and energy production well, allowing a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. In-house production technology saves up to 70% of CO2 emissions compared to traditional methods still widely used in the industry.
The first products with the new version of PrimaLoft P.U.R.E. will be on sale at brand partners such as Stone Island or Patagonia from the autumn/winter 2022 season.
