The Oeko-Tex Association, Zurich/Switzerland, offers standardized solutions that companies in the textile and leather industry can use to optimize their manufacturing processes transparently and more sustainably. Oeko-Tex standards are developed as a modular system to cover the entire textile and leather value chain in terms of input, process, and output control as well as supply chain management. 17 international institutes independently contribute to bringing high-quality, safe, and responsible products onto the market.
The goal is to enable everyone to make responsible decisions and protect natural resources. While millions of consumers around the world use the Oeko-Tex labels as a guide for responsible purchasing decisions, 21.000 manufacturers, brands and trading companies in more than 100 countries are working with the association and trust the Oeko-Tex product labels Standard 100, Leather Standard, Made in Green and Organic Cotton as well as certifications like Oeko-Tex Step, Oeko-Tex Eco Passport and Oeko-Tex Responsible Business.
