On the occasion of Proposte, the international fair for producers of furnishing fabrics, from April 26-28, 2022 in Cernobbio/Italy, Marzotto Lab, a company of Gruppo Marzotto, Valdagno/Italy, has launched the new brand Marzotto Interiors, merging the Prosetex and Redaelli Velluti brands under a single trademark.
With the new Marzotto Interiors brand, the group pools the know-how, production capacity and craftsmanship of 2 historic brands, creating a large and varied collection for the interior sector, ranging from jacquard velvets to solid velvets, as well as jacquard weaves in cotton, wool, linen and other fibers.  
At present, production for furnishings accounts for over half of the revenues of Marzotto Lab Srl, Valdagno. The company closed out the year 2021 with sales in the décor market alone of €52 million, reporting growth of 35% over 2020.
For Marzotto Interiors, the advantage of an increasingly integrated chain of production and therefore the connection of manufacturing platforms translates into readiness for innovation, with more effective control of quality, sourcing, production and processes, all with an accent on sustainability, from the raw material to the finished product.
The company’s carbon footprint has been reduced through the elimination of chemical dyes and substances, and a close focus on savings in terms of energy (also through the use of renewable sources) and water, with reuse and recycling of production waste.
