The first online course on digital textile printing with comprehensive online training has been organized by the ESMA Academy, Tielt-Winge/Belgium, and the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF), Denkendorf/Germany. During 3 afternoons from November 30-December 2, 2021, participants will learn all aspects of digital printing technology for textile applications.
The course consists of 8 blocks dedicated to printing process, textile chemistry and pre-treatment, ink formulation, curing techniques, color management, printing quality and characterization of textile substrates.
The course is open to everyone who wants to learn about the technology behind digital textile printing and specific application requirements. It is suitable for printers, print service providers, textile manufacturers, suppliers, developers, chemists and all those impacted by the shift to digital production processes.
ESMA was founded in 1990 as the European association of screen printing equipment manufacturers. Today, its focus lies on all industrial, functional and specialized printing applications, as well as graphic applications that lead to disruptive developments in printed interior decoration, printed electronics, plastics (IMD and FIM), textiles and glass.
