With an up to 8-color configuration, the Hyper scanning printer operates at up to 13 linear m/minute in 2-pass production mode. The new printer from EFI Reggiani, Bergamo/Italy, a subsidiary of Electronics For Imaging (EFI), Inc., Fremont, CA/USA, is suitable for high-quality production on knitted or woven fabrics and is designed with smart technology that enables it to be integrated into Industry 4.0 projects.
The Hyper targets the industrial high-speed segment of the multi-pass textile printing sector. It is the fastest multi-pass printer from EFI Reggiani, offering very high printing quality and productivity. With 72 recirculating printheads with 600-dots per inch (dpi) it can print 2 passes with production quality at speeds up to 13 m/minute for a 1.5 m wide roll, or up to 10 m/minute for a 3 m wide roll. On a 3.4 m Reggiani Hyper printer, users can print a pair of 1.5 m wide rolls in parallel, delivering a total throughput of up to 20 m/minute.
The printer is powered by EFI Reggiani genuine inks, with high-quality formulas for better runnability and longer printhead life while producing very good color depth, brightness, and fastness properties.
