Alumo to become wholly-owned subsidiary

As of October 2021, textile finishing specialist Cilander will acquire 100% of Alumo, a manufacturer of ultra-fine cotton fabrics.
The acquisition integrates Alumo AG, Appenzell/Switzerland, even more firmly into the Cilander group. Both companies can look back on a long tradition of expertise in the textile industry, and their partnership has been very successful for years. Alumo will continue to operate as an independent company based in Appenzell, keeping the same strategic direction in the fabrics offered and the same standards in service and quality.
By acquiring Alumo, AG Cilander, Herisau/Switzerland, expands into a new market segment, aiming to broaden its product portfolio and tapping into new sales markets.
