On May 23, 2022, Calida Group completed the acquisition of US underwear manufacturer Cosabella. Calida Group, Sursee/Switzerland, has acquired a 100% stake in Cosabella, Miami, FL/USA, reinvesting the proceeds from the sale of Millet Mountain Group, which was completed in April 2022.
The acquisition is expected to further strengthen Calida's position in the core underwear and lingerie segment. Together with the established brands in the underwear and lingerie segment Calida, Aubade and erlich textil as well as the outdoor furniture brand Lafuma Mobilier, Cosabella will further drive the continuous growth of the Calida Group. In addition, the acquisition creates a good starting point for the brands' market entry in the USA.
