Dirk Wachsmuth (Source: vombaur)
Effective May 1, 2021, Dirk Wachsmuth is the new Managing Director (CEO) of vombaur. He is responsible for sales, marketing and development. The previous Managing Director, Peter vom Baur, will remain responsible for vombaur after almost 30 years as a shareholder of the parent company Textation Group.
Wachsmuth studied mechanical engineering, and worked for many years first for a filter manufacturer, then in the plastics industry. Together with Andreas Kielholz and Christoph Schliefer, he will be heading vombaur GmbH & Co. KG, Wuppertal/Germany from now on.
vombaur is a specialist for seamless narrow textile woven tubulars and is currently investing a double-digit million sum in a state-of-the-art headquarters, which is scheduled to go into operation in 2023.
