The Lycra Company announced a series of organizational changes for the company's European leaders. Julien Born (photo) has been named President and chief executive officer (CEO), following the retirement of David Trerotola. Born will lead the overall operations of The Lycra Company, Wilmington, DE/USA, and implement its growth vision. He joined the business in 2007, and most recently led the company’s apparel business, where he managed the global commercial organization, helped strengthen R&D and innovation capabilities, and oversaw manufacturing assets.
Nicolas Banyols has been promoted to chief commercial officer (CCO). In this role, he is responsible for implementing the business strategy along the global value chain to ensure functional integration and alignment.
Arnaud Ruffin is the new Vice President, Brands and Retail, reporting to Banyols. In this role, Ruffin will be responsible for global downstream customer processes, identifying and implementing growth bets for the company. He will oversee the EMEA downstream customer teams and provide support to the North America downstream customer team.
Alistair Williamson has been promoted to vice president, EMEA and South Asia, responsible for regional commercial activities to drive long-term value creation, reporting to Banyols.
