Thomas Bremer is Devan Chemicals’ new Managing Director. He succeeds Sven Ghyselinck, who remains active as a member of Devan's Board of Directors.
Bremer takes on the role of Managing Director of Devan Chemicals NV, Ronse/Belgium, in addition to his current position as head of the Textile Division of parent company Pulcra Chemicals GmbH, Geretsried/Germany. The focus of this dual role is to strengthen the cooperation between Devan and Pulcra worldwideAs well as Devan's headquarters in Ronse, there are also offices in the UK, Portugal and in the USA. This year, Devan is celebrating its 45th anniversary.
Bremer has more than 23 years of global business development experience in sales, product and business management for chemicals for the textile industry. Prior to joining Pulcra/Devan, he worked at Huntsman Textile Effects, Singapore, from 2012, where he held various positions including Global Business Unit Direct - Textile Chemicals and most recently the role of Global Product and Direct Purchasing Director. Prior to that, Bremer worked at DyStar Singapore Pte. Ltd., Singapore, and was responsible for the Textile Auxiliaries business in Asia since 2005. From 1999-2005, he worked at Rotta GmbH, Mannheim/Germany, and moved to China in 2002 as Sales Manager Asia.
