More than 500 participants from 23 countries attended the European Industry and Research Exchange on Technical Textiles (EUTT) online events in 2021 and 2022. The upcoming European meeting of experts for technical textiles, products, processes, services and ideas from industry and research will be held in-person again on May 5, 2023 in Frankfurt/Germany, under the motto “Innovative Materials for Technical Textiles – safe, sustainable, bio-based”.
The demand for bio-based raw materials and fibers has increased noticeably during the last 3 years. Although “bio” and “eco” are keywords, playing an important role in achieving the EU climate protection goals, new functions in technical textiles are also essential. Since the topic of sustainability is so diverse, the conference will focus on technical textiles safety and resources.
Presentations for the event are being sought. Each speaker has 15 minutes for their talk, plus extra time for questions and answers. Every participant will get a copy of the according presentation afterwards. As this is a face-to-face event, there will not be any possibility to speak online or to do a pre-recording. The event will be held in English. Participation is free of charge.
The closing date for presentation proposals is March 3, 2023.
Online registration for the public will start on March 6, 2023. On the evening before the event (May 4, 2023), a network dinner will be held in Frankfurt.
