To meet North America’s huge and rapidly growing demand for sustainable packaging, PulPac is expanding its capabilities and partnering with machinery builder Curt G. Joa.
Dry Molded Fiber, invented and patented by PulPac AB, Göteborg/Sweden, is a fiber-forming technology to help create a new and competitive standard in sustainable packaging. Besides very good sustainability features, the unique fiber-forming technology offers unit economics competitive enough to make a viable shift from single-use plastics to fiber-based alternatives. With a licensing business model, the company is scaling the supply chain, a global network of partners supporting licensees in transitioning to Dry Molded Fiber.
Curt G. Joa, Inc., Sheboygan Falls, WI/USA, a leader in engineering and custom machine manufacturing for the disposable hygiene market, will provide the Dry Molded Fiber production platform “PulPac Modula” specialized to the US market.
