The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has approved Autoneum’s science-based emissions reduction targets. The validation is an important milestone in the company’s efforts to reduce its direct and indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions along the entire value chain.
»We are placing particular emphasis on the innovation of resource-efficient technologies that contribute to making vehicles quieter and lighter, thus reducing fuel and energy consumption as well as emissions output.«
Matthias Holzammer, CEO Autoneum
Autoneum Management AG, Winterthur/Switzerland, has committed to reducing its absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 20% by 2027 from a 2019 base year.
