Their common goal is to substitute fossil-based plastic materials with plant-based raw materials with the aim to reduce the environmental impact of the footwear and apparel industry while creating the good sports performance products for the athletes. 
Pond Global, Aarhus/Denmark, uses advanced technology to create strong and durable biocomposites. The bioresins and engineered biocomposites use existing industrial equipment and manufacturing setups, making the green transition seamless. The engineered biocomposites are biodegradable, compostable and can be repurposed.
