Groz-Beckert provides the nonwovens industry with manufacturing solutions using any fiber material – whether wood fiber, animal fiber, natural fiber, mineral fiber or synthetic fiber. Therefore, unequaled application know-how concerning raw material but also carding and needling is very important. Customer projects can be performed on machinery of leading manufacturers in Groz-Beckert’s Technical Center Felting. State-of-the-art machinery featuring different variation options like pitches, condensing rollers, etc. can be booked as and if needed. A complete needle range with approx. 2000 types is available to assure no limits when it comes to testing series. The results are highly reliable due to industry-oriented working widths of all components of the production line. The experts lead through every single production step, and when it comes to the finishing of the produced textile surface, the equipment (padder, thermofixation unit with stretching and relaxing frame) is available to complete the job on a laboratory scale.
As a development partner, Groz-Beckert KG, Albstadt/Germany, offers an extensive range of services in the areas of felting application advice and customer projects. Groz-Beckert’s range encompasses felting and structuring needles, as well as jet strips.  At the Technology and Development Center (TEZ) in Albstadt customers can run tests on Groz-Beckert’s own needle punch line.
