The French company Spoolex, Roche la Molière, through its brands Calemard and Decoup+, offers a wide range of equipment with material tension control and guiding systems. Thus, whatever the materials require, low tension control, high or both, the equipment assure the production of rolls or spools with consistent tension, clean and straight edges for easy and reliable use on downstream operations. The company will be showcasing its products at the Index in Geneva/Switzerland from October 19-22, 2021.
Alongside Jumbo spooling lines, Calemard (the machinery division of Spoolex) is offers compact, versatile, adaptable and upgradeable off-line slitter-rewinders for the nonwovens market. They are all available with center surface rewinding technologies to produce larger diameter, narrow width pads at high speed, even with tension sensitive materials. Based on a modular concept, the equipment can be adapted to all specific needs and environmental constraints. All machines are equipped with automation solutions (e.g. for loading, unloading and conveying rolls) to ensure reliability and productivity.
The expertise in ultrasonic technology of the Decoup+ sister brand allows, Spoolex to develop and manufacture ultrasonic splicing units. The company offers 2 technologies, butt-to-butt or overlap splicing for higher strength, either complete benches to be integrated in-line or separate off-line equipment.
Because ultrasonic splicing solutions help reduce labor content, they are already used by many nonwovens producers all over the world in hygiene cost cautious productions. The environmentally friendly process also allows wastage reduction and limitation of pollution risk.
