Now the Index is finally taking place in-person in Geneva, what do you hope/expect from this fair?
To re-connect with partners in person after this long period is important – we look forward to welcoming many existing partners, as well as new customers at our booth!
What will you present at the Index?
We will present several new products
that have been produced on our new meltblown and spunbond assets!
Bi-Co spunbond and new filter media will definitely be a topic.
At the moment, every new development, every new product should also be sustainable and environmentally friendly. What is your approach to a greener world?
We are working with raw materials from sustainable resources, as well as recycled materials, to reduce the environmental impact of our products.
What will be the biggest challenges for the nonwovens industry after the corona pandemic?
The pandemic has changed portfolios of nonwovens producers and increased the output of specific products.
One of the challenges will be to balance markets and production again, to arrive at a stable level without extreme peaks.
The interview was conducted by our nonwovensTRENDS team with Daniel Krumme, Managing Director, Innovatec Microfibre Technology GmbH & Co. KG, Troisdorf/Germany
