The Index20 finally opens its doors today after having its original dates moved several times since March 2020 because of the corona pandemic.
As the world's largest meeting place for the nonwovens industry, the Index, will be held in Geneva/Switzerland, from October 19-22, 2021. Nearly 13,000 visitors from more than 100 countries are expected and will be welcomed by around 750 exhibitors from more than 40 countries on 50,000 m² of exhibition space.
Highlights and innovations will be on show from the areas of hygiene, filtration, automotive and transportation, infection prevention, geotextiles and packaging. Sustainable and intelligent nonwovens and their production will be a particular focus of this event. Furthermore, a virtual platform will be offered for the first time at the Index for those unable to attend in person. This will enable visitors from all over the world to participate in the extensive seminar program and contact speakers, exhibitors and others directly.
