Partnership to scale recycling of polyamide 66
Invista, a specialist in polymers and fibers, and Epoch Biodesign Ltd., London/UK, a company specializing in enzymatic plastic recycling, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance recycling technology for polyamide 66 (PA 66).
The collaboration aims to integrate Epoch's AI-driven enzymatic recycling solutions with the global manufacturing capabilities of Invista S.à.r.l., Wichita, KS/USA, to produce recycled PA 66 of virgin-quality at a commercial scale.
