Partner in the T-REX textile recycling project
IVL has announced its involvement in the pioneering T-REX (Textile Recycling EXcellence) Project. The key objective of this initiative is to set up a uniform EU blueprint for sustainable sorting and recycling of household textile waste, a significant step towards greening the fashion industry.
As the spinning partner, Indorama Ventures Public Company Ltd. (IVL), Bangkok/Thailand, takes responsibility for transforming chemically recycled feedstock into polyester yarns and fibers via the extrusion process, consequently eliminating impurities. This partnership consolidates IVL’s dedication to promoting a circular economy and the sustainability of the fashion industry, driven through their efforts in PET recycling and supply of recycled materials.
