New winder and a redesign

In addition to the existing portfolio, the textile machinery specialist Power-Heat-Set GmbH, Toging/Germany, is presenting the new winder X-Wind Pro 1.0 for the first time. Designed for the winding following the preceding heat-setting process, it winds the yarn optimally back onto the packages in perfect symbiosis with the PHS heat-setting units, the GVA or Hiperset. The in-house designed winder can quickly wind up to 60 bobbins for Hiperset or 96 bobbins for GVA; and when the required length is reached, doffing is automatically initiated.
Variable choice of machine assembly and winding segments (depending on the heat-setting equipment), automatic tube change and individual adaption of settings (for example: yarn type, yarn length per package, duration of the preceding heat-setting process) make it easy to connect the winder to the existing heat-setting system – with the advantage that everything is available from one source and perfectly coordinated – complemented by a quick, reliable and expert service. Furthermore, the winder is also compatible with almost any other heat-setting system on the market and can also be placed independently behind other heat-setting machines.
Additionally, the company will present its redesign of a proven concept for the first time: the Steamatic. This is intended for customers in the worsted yarn industry. The Steamatic is a fully automatic, computer controlled inline yarn steaming unit – designed for integration between ring spinning and winding machine. This allows integrated processing of materials that require steaming and moistening between spinning and winding and gives customers the opportunity of inline steaming in only one work process.
