Expanded offer of presentations and halls

The 62nd Dornbirn Global Fibers Congress (GFC) will take place from September 13-15, 2023, in Dornbirn/Austria. The event will be significantly expanded with the number of presentations increased to 120. The selection of halls for the presentations will also be extended. International speakers from industry and research will present the latest innovations in the fiber and textile industry on a total of 4 stages.
3rd Innovation Days
As part of the Dornbirn GFC, the 3rd Innovation Days will be given a larger platform. In cooperation with FashionForGood, Amsterdam/Netherlands, and PWC(PriceWaterhouseCoopers), Frankfurt/Germany, the 25 participants of this year’s Innovation Days will start pitching their innovations on the opening morning. More than 500 experts will follow the short intro of each young company. The heart of the Innovation Days - the Contact Point - is located in the large Foyer of the event location. Here, the specialist audience and the participants of the Innovation Days will connect.

A special block of lectures will result from the cooperation on the topic of sustainability between the RWTH Aachen University, Aachen/Germany, and European industry partner. The Swiss company Texaid Textilverwertungs-AG, Zurich, will start this block with the lecture: “Sustainability in the textile industry: How spinning mills turn recycled material into yarn”. Furthermore, several other relevant industry players will be on stage and will show their innovations on this important topic and the way forward.
Until May 31, 2023, the Early Bird Ticket is available at a reduced price. The participant ticket includes the visit of all 120 expert lectures, the exhibition area, the 3rd Innovation Days and the traditional gala evening on the opening day with buffet and fashion show.
