Partnership for 60,000 ton circulose plant

The specialty chemical company Nouryon, Amsterdam/Netherlands, formerly AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals, has signed an agreement with Renewcell, Stockholm, to provide specialty chemicals and engineering solutions for its new textile recycling plant in Sundsvall. The facility will recycle textile waste, including items such as worn-out jeans and production scraps, to manufacture 60,000 tons/year of Circulose dissolving pulp for sustainable textile applications.
