Gerhard Ohler will take over the role as CEO of NGR, effective August 1, 2022, succeeding Wolfgang Steinwender, who has held this position since May 2020.
Ohler has many years of international experience in extrusion technology and plastics recycling. Among other positions, he served as General Manager of Krauss Maffei Co. Ltd., Shanghai/China, and Managing Director at Greiner Packaging International GmbH, Kremsmünster/Austria. Before joining Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen GmbH (NGR), Feldkirchen/Austria, he was responsible for the management of the Greiner Extrusion Group as CEO since 2013.
